Rossana Castillo is a Chilean director, screenwriter, and film editor. Her short film “Peter” (2019) premiered at the Guadalajara International Film Festival and was also featured at festivals such as Huesca, Curta Kinoforum, and SANFIC. “Wetland”, her second short film, was funded by the Chilean Audiovisual Fund and awarded in WIP sections at the Chilean Film Festival and Ventana Sur. It was also part of the market at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short
Film Festival. She is currently developing her debut feature film “The Shorn Sheep”, selected for labs such as Confluencias, STGO LAB Ficción, and Cine Qua Non Lab. Her work is marked by a sensitive and committed approach to marginalized characters.
