I was born in 1989 in Murmansk-150. It’s a small, closed military town in the Murmansk region, there was a military unit with submarines nearby. In 2000, my parents and I moved to the city of Biysk, Altai region. There I began to watch many different films, fell in love with cinema and became seriously interested in it. I tried to write, and filmed a few things, as an amateur. In 2004 we moved to Saint-Petersburg. In 2017, I spent some time in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where I shot my first feature film, which turned from a documentary to docufiction. Unfortunately, I’ve never studied at a film school and never got a formal education in film. In 2020, I moved to Baku to shoot films in a new region for me, where I continue to live to this day.
