Gustavo García Sierra (1992) is a filmmaker and teacher. After graduating in Film Direction from the TAI School in 2017, he began his career working in the camera department on several film productions, including Todos lo Saben. In 2020, he directed his first short film, Caníbales, which was selected for the 53rd edition of the Sitges Film Festival and won awards at several film festivals, including Corto Joven Ciudad de Toledo.
He is co-founder of ALISON, an artists’ collective where he writes and makes music videos for national and international groups. As a filmmaker, he has directed commercials, fashion films, and the feature film MONO – Live Pilgrimage in Madrid (2024). He currently combines his work as a filmmaker with teaching at centers such as the IED in Madrid.
