Eduard Amado is a Barcelona-born director and screenwriter, graduated in Directing from ESCAC, with additional training at ECAM (Madrid) and EICTV (Cuba). Thanks to his early training at Laura Jou’s studio and the Eòlia school, he stands out for his sensitivity in directing actors. Currently, together with Agencia Freak, he is distributing his final degree short film “Las colillas de mi casa”, produced by Escac Films and starring Ingrid Rubio, which premiered at the 70th Seminci. At the same time, he is developing his next project with Colosé Producciones. His cinema explores personal and mother-child relationships with an intimate and honest gaze, focusing on contradictory characters. Isabel Coixet awarded him the 2025 Best Fashion Film prize for “Morriña”, a collection by Anna Guitart.
