Bárbara S. Barroso is a visual artist, filmmaker and educator. Her practice lies between experimental cinema, non-fiction and video installation, with an interest in the relationships between ecology, territory and other forms of life.
She often works with analogue film, exploring its materiality as a poetic and political tool. Her work has been presented at international festivals, art centres and exhibition spaces such as Fundació Joan Miró, Bienal Sur, HIAP and MoCA Taipei.
