María Monreal (Pamplona, 1996) is a film director. Her debut feature-length documentary, “Con los ojos abiertos”, was awarded Best Film at the Navarra International Film Festival. In 2019, she founded Cambur Producciones, where she has directed works such as “Gaueko”, “Cuesta”, “La colada”, “Déjame ir”, and the short film “O”, which won Best Screenplay at the Cartagena International Film Festival. Her short film “Cuando crece la hierba” has been selected at more than 80 festivals and has received awards including Best Short Film at the Oldenburg International Film Festival. He is currently preparing his first feature film.
